Job Responsibilities:
- Provide extensive and specialized customer service in support of mission operations.
- Coordinate with the Operations Officer or designated military representative to assist in coordination of NSW Temporary Additional Duty Travel (TADTAR) budget.
- Solicits reviews, consolidates, prioritizes, and forwards TADTAR budget requests and cost estimates with appropriate recommendations for resolution to the Operations Officer.
- Assist NSW personnel with the creation of travel orders, booking of airline tickets and other travel related tasks as required. Contractor shall not have approval authority.
- Review Temporary Additional Duty (TEMADD) requests to ensure the most cost effective means of transportation, lodging, and other travel related expenses are utilized. Provide recommendations for cost saving methods to the Operations Officer.
- Maintain oversight of TADTAR budgets to include the NSW JTAC and Warrior Rehab Program, and other support elements to ensure travel cap authority is not exceeded.
- Liaison with outside support elements/assets to ensure budgets and fund sites are established for personnel to travel in support of NSW. Maintain oversight to ensure travel authority is not exceeded and orders and claims are processed in compliance with NSW policy.
- Maintain a budget tracker and provide real-time budget status reports and projected shortfalls to ensure timely requests for increased controls/authority may made.
- Submit budgets to NSW via the Budget Estimating System (BES).
- Submit all PERSTEMPO entries via the Navy Standard Integrated Personnel System (NSIPS) and Defense Ready Reporting System to ensure accurate accountability of individual PERSTEMPO events.
- Provide administrative support for NSW Government Travel Card Program. Maintain an up-to-date list of all cardholders and accounts. Perform the day-to-day operations of the DoD travel card program that do not include approval or certification practices. Monitor accounts for fraud or misuse. Submit required reports to the NSWG Agency Program Coordinator (APC) to include aging analysis, delinquency, and misuse reports as required.
- Assist travelers with travel/credit card issues.
- Strong working knowledge of the Joint Federal Travel Regulations and the DoD Travel Card Program.
- Maintain the OPTAR budget tracker.
Education/Skills/Qualifications:
- Ability to obtain and maintain Agency Program Coordinator (Government Travel Card) Designation Letter.
- DD Form 577 Accountable Official.
- AO/RO Training for Accountable Officials and Certifying Officers.
- Travel Card Program Management Certification (APC).
- Travel Card 101 Certification (DTS).
- The Contractor shall be capable of performing data entry on IBM®-compatible computers utilizing current versions of Microsoft® Windows®, and Microsoft Office® applications like Access®, Excel®, Word®, PowerPoint® and other related programs.
- The Contractor shall have completed honorable service as a former NSW, USSOCOM or Federal Law Enforcement Operator and Tactical Trainer with post 9/11 combat experience (Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF), Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF) or Operation New Dawn (OND), or Operation Inherent Resolve (OIR).
- Possess professional work ethics, verbal and written communication skills, and be detailed and accurate in performing all administrative and routine functions.
- In accordance with paragraph 4.9, it is preferred the Contractor know and have an understanding of the M350 Series publications from SOCOM (for ALL position categories). As identified in paragraph 13 of the PWS, while this is not available for public dissemination, the publication can be made available through Government secured computer access during contract performance.
- It is preferred that he Contractor know and have an understanding of the Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures 3-05 series Naval Special Warfare Publication for certain training categories, as specified further in paragraph 4.10. As identified in paragraph 13 of the PWS, while this is not available for public dissemination, the publication can be made available through Government secured computer access during contract performance.

- Active DoD SECRET security clearance is required.
