The role is responsible for providing comprehensive financial support including forecasting, analysis, deal approvals and driving actions to profitably grow a ~$1B North Americas Airlines region business within Aerospace. The role reports to the Vice President of Finance for Aftermarket Americas and is responsible for a team of finance analysts that support Americas Airlines Customer Business Teams and dotted line to the Americas Aftermarket General Manager

Key responsibilities include:

  • Lead the development of annual operating plans, strategic financial plans & quarterly forecasts for controllable financial statements.
  • Provide financial oversight and analysis for the Americas Aftermarket Airlines deal pursuits
  • Assist in development of weekly, monthly and quarterly financial presentations to senior management and Aerospace leadership. Understand key risks and opportunities for sales, income and cash at the business level
  • Develop and incorporate market indicators and customer metrics in the forecasting process.
  • Drive continuous improvement of the Finance organization to allows faster response and a deeper level of analysis.
  • Lead revenue chain management efforts designed to improve cash collections and efficiency.
  • Provide financial leadership and support to program management, engineering and integrated supply chain to ensure linkage between business unit and functional groups. Responsible for staff development, recruitment and retention, training, evaluation, mentoring and coaching.

You Must Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Business discipline
  • 10 plus consecutive years in financial leadership roles of increasing scope/responsibility
  • Five plus years leading team of five or more finance professionals

We Value:

  • CPA/Accounting degree are a plus
  • Three plus years
  • Finance leadership role for $1 billion plus organization
  • English native speaker
  • SAP experience
  • Leadership – ability to lead and influence diverse, cross-functional teams
  • Experience with SRO 3.0, SAP, Essbase, AMR, tableau
  • Some experience working within a large, multinational corporation
  • Government contracting experience
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and focus on using technology to improve processes
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy and reliability
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to take ownership of projects producing high quality results.
  • Challenges the status quo and proactively identifies opportunities for improvement.
  • Quickly adapts to changing circumstances
