Mission

This position exists to lead the Company’s global order-to-cash (OTC) process and ensure the timely delivery of projects and initiatives that support the Finance team’s strategic objectives as well as drive operational alignment between technology applications and functional organizations, including Product Development, Engineering, Revenue Operations, FP&A, Sales Compensation, and Accounting. The Director of Order Management will supervise two or more accountants and analysts and utilize an internal customer service approach to work with each functional area to build and maintain effective systems and processes.

Outcomes

  • Dedicated leadership for the order-to-cash process in line with industry best practices
  • Build out of new team focused on order management (deal review, subscription set up and management, and deal support)
  • Be a subject matter expert for our sales contract execution, billing and collections processes
  • Partner with the leaders of Product Development, Engineering, Revenue Operations, FP&A, Sales Compensation, and Accounting to align on mutual goals, policies, and practices
  • Develop a best in class team and plan for global operations at scale while adhering to immediate term processes and timelines
  • Manage daily order to cash operational activities
  • Manage accounts receivable aging with a focus on reducing DSO; implement credit review and bad debt collection practices
  • Maintain OTC systems and processes to keep up with product and business changes
  • Work alongside the Director of Revenue and Corporate Controller on projects related to challenges we will face as a growing, multi-national company
  • Build a best in class internal control environment

Competencies

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum 8 years’ experience in OTC roles at a combination of multinational public companies and start-ups
  • Minimum 6 years of people management experience
  • SAAS software industry experience required
  • Proven ability to recruit, train, manage and develop staff
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Effective writing, presentation and informal communication skills
  • Excellent project management skills required
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
  • A strong passion for the company’s mission
  • Ability to interact professionally with all levels of the organization
  • Strong Knowledge of sales, CRM, and accounting systems such as Salesforce and Netsuite
