Job Description:

The Director of Project Management will support University Clinical Health’s development and growth activities, process improvement initiatives, and marketing strategy through project management. This position will lead the identification and implementation of project management processes, methods, tools, guidelines and standards in order to establish a stable framework that supports all project teams and stakeholders to improve the probability of successful project delivery. Thinking strategically about key organization initiatives, this position will collaborate with key stakeholders to successfully define, track and execute on projects that span all departments from operations to facilities.

KEY RESULT AREAS (KRAs)

  • Manage the Project Management Office (PMO) function through effective leadership of cross-functional teams
  • Manage multiple complex programs/projects and facilitate activities of all cross-functional teams to ensure that predetermined specifications, timelines and budgets are met
  • Assign cross-functional resources in collaboration with functional managers and hold team members accountable for task and outcome completion
  • Lead constructive, collaborative meetings and work sessions with internal and external parties
  • Create visuals/documentation to share with the project members as well as executives related to project status and involved processes
  • Align and prioritize workload in accordance with business strategy and objectives
  • Manage marketing department strategy and employee
  • Oversee project management of large facility expansion

Required Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA, MHA, PMP strongly encouraged
  • 6-8 years of professional project management related experience required
  • 2 years of direct personnel management experience strongly preferred
  • Experience preferred in the area of healthcare, specifically in medical practice development
  • Experience and strong business acumen including financial statement and project ROI
  • Demonstrated high levels of initiative, innovation, and collaboration
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Positive attitude and demonstrated flexibility in re-prioritizing projects
  • Ability to work effectively in teams and autonomously in a fast-paced environment
  • Highly proficient in MS Office: Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Project
