Essential duties and responsability

• Direct and coordinate daily operations of the manufacturing plant.
• Oversee all levels of staff activity and performance.
• Develop processes to increase productivity and enhance performance.
• Ensure company policies and procedures are followed at all times.
• Provide training and educational materials to staff as necessary.
• Monitor equipment and ensure that they are in good working order.
• Repair or replace plant equipment as needed.
• Define the production capacity of the plants and the specific consumption forecast for each product.
• Create a forecast of costs in a budget, report and adhere to it.
• Oversee work to improve the plant (extraordinary maintenance activity) and to propose investment aimed at cost reduction, improvement of the working environment, safety or production capacity.
• Engage with internal and external functions in the planning phase of new plants.
• Ensure that the required updates of existing plants is carried out.
• Ensure the protection of corporate assets (goods and equipment), ensuring maintenance is carried out and verifying insurance cover.
• Prepare the monthly report of the plant, containing the plant’s monthly production performance, indicating the financial results of the activity, the condition of the plant, safety and environmental costs and situation.
• Engage in monthly reporting meetings and meetings on assessments of investments (work orders meetings).
• Verify the monthly production figures and progress reports.

Qualifications

• Proven experience working in plant operations required.
• Good understanding of regulatory requirements for operating plants.
• Strong aptitude for root cause analysis and troubleshooting operational issues.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications and computer technology.
• Familiar with operating plant equipment safely and efficiently.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong leadership and managerial attributes.
• Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
• SAP experience is a plus.
• Heat Transfer manufacturing is a plus.
