Job Description

HCI Hospitality is seeking a Director of Human Resources to help support our growing organization. We are looking for an experienced human resource professional with excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.


Key Responsibilities:

Actively participates in the strategy regarding developing, executing, coordinating or communicating human resource plans in the following areas.

  • Workforce Planning
  • Employee Relations
  • Work & Organization Design
  • Performance Management
  • Benefit Administration


What You’ll Do:

  • Develop and maintain a working knowledge of state and federal HR regulations in order to formulate and implement lawful personnel policies and procedures.
  • Participate on the impact of long-range planning of new programs as those items affect the attraction, motivation, development, and retention of all team members.
  • Development of the organization’s plans and programs as a strategic partner to the executive team, district managers and store general managers from the perspective of the impact on our people.
  • Develop staffing strategies and implementation plans and programs to identify talent. Identify appropriate and effective external sources for recruitment of all positions within the company.
  • Develop progressive and proactive compensation and benefits programs to provide an effective performance of all team members.
  • Performs or assists with necessary Human Resource related audits.
  • Assists management with the review of pay grades and pay ranges by position.
  • Serves as a liaison to benefit brokers, vendors, TPAs and carriers.
  • Coordinates and communications annual open enrollment of all benefit plans.

Qualifications

  • Candidate must possess a bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in HR Management
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Passion for training and coaching
  • Experience creating and maintaining processes and systems
  • Experience leading and managing a team
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
