Are you a digital wizard? Do you know how to create a stellar content plan to drive a digital strategy? Are you a highly analytical thinker with the ability to operate with an audience-first mindset? The ideal candidate for this role is an expert on social media analytics, understands the nuances, advantages and shortcomings of each platform and know how to utilize data in formulating a strong content program.

Experience with digital advertising, SEO and content usage tracking is required.

Leveraging a generous budget, you will work with third party experts / market analysts, freelance writers, associations and other influencers to develop compelling digital content.

The role involves strong project management with a keen eye toward developing compelling market messages. You will then use the content in demand generation and digital programs.

To be effective, you will require excellent interpersonal and communicative skills, as well as demonstrate sound leadership and decision-making ability. You will work with resources in digital infrastructure and campaign management to drive activities – being able to collaborate and coordinate across the team is essential.

The successful person in this role will be an expert in digital content marketing including channel optimization, brand consistency, segmentation and localization, analytics and meaningful measurement. This role requires a high level of leadership, initiative, output, attention to detail, and healthy collaboration.

The ideal candidate has 5-8 years of experience in B2B marketing, ideally for a software company. You must have the ability to strategize the most effective use for content, create a content program that includes case studies, blogs, web copy, interactive assests, video, info-graphics and high-level product overviews. You will be a digital expert, capable of driving a digital plan for all content including digital advertising and SEO programs.

Experience with DemandBase is a strong plus.


Responsibilities:

  • Orchestrating digital content strategies across all channels.
  • Leverage content in display advertising strategy.
  • Driving traffic and engagement that translates to sales and brand promotion.
  • Managing a content marketing budget.
  • Measuring the results of marketing activity to inform future marketing campaigns.
  • Managing a team of external writers, illustrators and data analysts.
  • Implementing SEO best practices.
  • Knowing which platform different kinds of content are best suited to.
  • Designing and implementing creative marketing strategies to disseminate content.
  • Work with key customers to develop content, interface with key influencers / press.
  • Push content through DemandBase and other platforms.

Qualifications:

  • A keen understanding of all digital platforms / channels including display advertising.
  • Ability to write compelling copy for digital and print assets
  • Experience creating content for the web and growing a social audience.
  • Experience working with third party market experts for thought leadership content.
  • Expert in SEO and content usage / optimization
  • Strong understanding of content categorization, structure, and distribution
  • Capable of establishing a metric framework for measuring effectiveness
  • Ability to analyze and present content and social performance.
  • Experience with WordPress, Google Analytics, SEMRush, and DemandBase.
  • Ability to conduct interviews and create presentation content for webinars
  • Excellent project management skills and understanding how to manage priorities
  • BA/BS or equivalent working experience.
