What you’ll be doing

As a Compliance Manager, you will be responsible for working effectively with numerous cross-functional partners across the company (Legal, Finance, Product groups, etc.) to engage on all aspects of control and process design, testing, implementation, monitoring, project management, documentation, and remediation activities as needed to ensure the highest compliance and regulatory standards.

- Own company internal compliance overall, working with the broader team to ensure successful execution
- Respond to inbound due diligence requests from customer prospects
- Conduct ongoing due diligence on Alloy vendors and its customers, products, and services
- Execute 3rd party and customer assessments to evaluate from an inherent and residual compliance risk
- Project manager large external audits such as SOC 2
- Conduct regular audits of our customer and internal company activity
- Review and write policies, in conjunction with the broader team
- Lead risk reviews across business units
- Identify controls that need to be put in place including the design and implementation of standard methodologies to reduce risk

Who we’re looking for

Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, Alloy is looking for a Compliance Manager with 3+ years of compliance or audit experience working with industry regulations and standards including Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act, California Consumer Privacy Act, Fair Credit Reporting Act, fraud, and other applicable regulatory dimensions.
- Financial services, audit or compliance background and/or experience with financial services compliance and/or experience with the assigned products, services or business lines/areas and the pertaining laws, regulations, and rules of relevant regulators preferred
- Organized and very detailed high impact player with a broad knowledge of controls, compliance activities, project management, and related standard methodologies
- Substantial understanding of the compliance management systems and the regulatory frameworks, requirements that apply to financial institutions and banking operations
- Proven knowledge of financial crime risks and the prevention and mitigation through the application of effective systems and controls
- Significant experience with control frameworks and the ability to design and evaluate the efficiency of controls embedded within business processes
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills coupled with superior analytical and problem-solving abilities
