This role is a high-visibility and critical position leading targeted and strategic engagement/projects with the various HIT Group Business Units, functions, and Go-To-Market Strategy and Planning teams. You will be a member of the Hybrid IT (HIT) Business Operations global function working in the Strategic Operations team which is part of Programs & Performance organization.


Responsibilities

  • Senior level project/program manager
  • Must have experience in leading governance programs across multi functional areas
  • Must lead various simultaneous projects/programs/initiatives that may span from different topics related to Business Operations so it is crucial to understand cross-company products, organizations, functions, and diverse topic areas such as finance, R&D, PLM,IT, Metrics & Analytics, etc.
  • Directs the development of overall program strategy, governance, budgets, resource allocation plans, and general program requirements for the assigned programs/projects/initiative
  • Manages activities of supporting program teams and internal and external stakeholders; ensures alignment with unit strategy and owns responsibility for overall program objectives and results
  • Communicates program progress, escalations, and issue analysis to stakeholders; collaborates with business unit management to recommend and implement changes to programs, processes, or business practices to drive continuous improvement and manage program performance
  • Drives innovation and integration of new technologies, processes, and practice quality initiatives into projects and activities
  • Structures approach through project management methodologies in order to attain results in a structured and organized manner in order to hit milestones and deliverables
  • Leads and provides guidance and mentoring to less-experienced staff members to set an example of program management innovation and excellence
  • Understands how to drive actionable insights and make recommendations by understanding factual based data and trends. Designs, interprets, and publishes dashboards and metrics in order to measure project and program success


Education and Experience Required:

  • Bachelors or Master’s degree in Business Management, Computer Science, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or equivalent. MBA a plus.
  • PMP/PMI certification preferred Typically 10+ years experience
  • Broad business experience
  • Management Consulting experience a plus although not required
  • Led cross-functional teams (directly/indirectly)


Knowledge and Skills:

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated business acumen, understanding of organizational strategy, and successful experience managing all aspects of cross- business unit programs, including communicating with internal and external stakeholders and directing matrixed teams and resources
  • History of innovation with examples of developing new business processes
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English
  • Ability to effectively communicate program management architectures, plans, proposals, and results, and negotiate options at business unit levels
