Overview
This is a management position which oversees the daily activities of one or more banking branch locations. It involves directing and managing the sales and customer service of all bank products and services. It also involves managing and developing branch staff, as well as creating a friendly and professional sales culture environment for the assigned location(s). This position is also responsible for the development of consumer and small business loans. The individual in this position must be customer focused and dedicated to achieving branch and personal goals as assigned.

Work Environment:
There is minimum discomfort from noise in this area. Detailed instructions and procedures to be followed in a potentially hazardous condition (i.e. robbery) are received to minimize the risk.
Responsibilities
- Direct and manage the sales and service of all bank products and services; including branch level merchandising.
- Develop and maintain a sales culture environment.
- Interview customers to determine and analyze financial needs.
- Sell appropriate products and services.
- Maximize sales opportunities by developing business through new and existing relationship management, including external business calls.
- Deliver quality service to customers within designated authority levels.
- Responsible for facility management, including security, opening and closing procedures.
- Deepen customer relationships through the sales of multiple products and services.
- Maximize sales and fee income through the effective delivery of products and services.
- Handle customer problem resolution on the branch level.
- Obtain and retain product knowledge.
- Take, process and close consumer loan applications through credit administration.
- Manage controllable expenses for the office.
- Prepare written performance appraisals for appropriate office employees.
- Communicate performance appraisals with staff members.
- Ensure branch employees receive appropriate training, including self.
- Provide information to Executive Officer on market and product specific issues for both new and current products.
- Provide Executive Officer with appropriate feedback on sales tracking and customer feedback programs.
- Will be involved in community activities.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent,
- Two (2) years experience as Customer Service Representative, Teller, or equivalent,
- Technical knowledge and proficiency to handle the activities and responsibilities of job,
- Good decision making skills,
- Good oral communication skills,
- Sales ability,
- Leadership skills,
- Planning and organizing skills, and
- Ability to obtain a State insurance license.
Preferred Requirements:

Five years lending experience; and
