Associate, Project Manager – Corporate Governance Office Team

The Corporate Governance Office (CGO) is a small team of licensed attorneys and business professionals dedicated to leading and advising the company’s Board of Directors, senior management committees, and the subsidiary management program. Members of the CGO team are experienced and well-trained professionals and work within a highly collaborative, agile environment in order to deliver exceptional results.

CGO is seeking an energetic, self-motivated Project Manager to join the CGO team. The ideal candidate will be a detail oriented, innovative, confident, and experienced professional who is team oriented and has the ability to work collaboratively with others. They will possess flexibility, be able to adapt to constantly changing demands and show themselves capable of taking on new and unfamiliar tasks. You are resourceful and autonomous when taking on new tasks and projects, relying on problem solving skills to make it all work. In addition, you will partner with several team members to handle administrative tasks to free up their time to focus on department goals. This position is extremely pivotal to the success of a well-run, efficient, productive and happy team.


General Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and maintain small scale team projects, efforts, and processes to ensure that they are followed correctly and help to resolve issues or escalate when necessary.

  • Manage multiple projects, take on new responsibilities, autonomously provide assistance as required and timely and accurately handle novel, ad-hoc initiatives and issues.

  • Prepare professional business communication documents, including memos, notifications, and emails.

  • Assume filing responsibility for, and maintain, all records, documents, CGO binders, and other supporting materials, which includes the company’s official records, stored within the CGO team’s filing room, along with those materials stored on the team’s internal shared drive.

  • Review and continually measure the effectiveness of the team’s filing system and effectiveness of existing processes and procedures.

  • Communicate updates with key internal stakeholders on new and existing processes, procedures and efforts and provide customer support as needed.

  • Support additional CGO activities and other responsibilities as required.

  • Serve as the information and communication manager for the team and drive key team activities (such as all-hands meetings, team meetings, conferences, ordering supplies and social events).

  • Manage calendars for two team members, including scheduling various meetings and calls; reserving conference rooms; organizing catering, audio/video, and other essential services as needed; assessing and prioritizing meeting invitations based on last minute changes.

  • Build and maintain good business relationships with executives, associates and staff across the company to ensure timely delivery of commitments.

  • Autonomously provide additional administrative assistance as required.

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma, GED, or Equivalent Certification

  • At least 3 years of professional or administrative work experience


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or military experience

  • At least 2 years’ experience in project or process management

  • Experience in Google G Suite (i.e., Gmail, Calendar, Docs, Sheets, Slides, and Sites) and Microsoft Office Suite (i.e., Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) applications

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills

  • Strong interpersonal skills and customer focus

  • Strong problem solving and influencing skills

  • Work experience achieving results
