Responsibilities:
- Manages day-to-day operational aspects of assigned projects and scope to maximize the process and timelines for the project team and achieve on-time completion and delivery of project tasks and deliverables.
- Establishes and manages stakeholder and team relationships to support effective teamwork and efficiency.
- Sets and manages project team expectations.
- Contributes to the on-time completion of project tasks and deliverables as appropriate including scheduling kickoff and media brainstorming meetings and procuring course materials.
- Creates and executes project work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs, requirements and project team workload.
- Manages implementation of course- and program-level requirements.
- Facilitates effective regular status meetings with project team.
- Resolves and/or escalates risks and issues in a timely fashion.
- Communicates project information and status in an effective and timely manner.
- Ensures project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately.
- Collaborates with project management team to manage projects through shared resources.
- Communicates difficult or sensitive information tactfully as needed.
- Understands, follows, and manages business process and process improvements effectively.
- Tracks, reports, and manages team and project hours in a timely manner.
Essential Skills
- Knowledge and application of basic project management principles.
- Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to manage complex and varied interpersonal relationships to successfully complete projects.
- Excellent ability to organize time and detailed information to successfully manage and complete multiple projects.
- Displays sense of urgency.
- Accurately delivers information on time.
Experience
- Experience working with MS Project or MS Project Server preferred.
- 1-2 years project management experience under tight deadlines, with emphasis being placed on individualâs ability to successfully manage projects.
