Young Management Corporation is looking for experienced Property Managers for property-based Section 8 apartment complexes in the Kansas City area. The Property Manager is responsible for the general operations of the property: he/she assures that the rental program is properly executed and is responsible for the establishment of good tenant relations. He/she is responsible for conducting him/herself in a professional manner, obeying Fair Housing standards for conduct, following HUD regulations, and maintaining an organized office.
Job Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Keep property at maximum occupancy
- Processing of residential data from application, move-in, certifications, to move-out
- Occupied unit inspections/inspecting make-ready units
- Special claims
- Tenant concerns
- Collection of rents and security deposits
- Create and maintain accurate resident files and records
- Preparing work orders and ordering maintenance supplies
- Weekly and monthly reports for corporate office
- General administration duties
- This position requires travel between two apartment complexes
Requirements:
- Three years experience in property based section 8/LIHTC management
- Be organized and goal driven
- Be able to work unsupervised while being a team player
- Have experience with Realpage Onesite software
- Must be able to pass background and drug screenings.
