What we are seeking:
Job Title: Vice President, Sales
Plans, controls, and directs activities of the applicable sales force (directly or indirectly) to attain maximum sales volume and develop maximum potential volume from all markets for the division’s products and/or services. Responsible for selling Company programs and products to the health, hospital, consumer and/or pharmaceutical industry, etc.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following, and other duties may be assigned:

Prospect, qualify, engage, and sell to new clients surpassing quota or goals mutually set with management.
Identify new business opportunities and accurately report pipeline activities.
Provide strategic recommendations to management on how to efficiently manage and deliver programs such as but not limited to incentives, vouchers, data, samples, wellness portals & programs, publications, medical education, etc.
Develop and manage strategic relationships with third party alliances or joint ventures.
Develop accurate and effective written proposals/project estimates.
Demonstrate persistent sales related activities such as weekly meetings with brand managers and the like; submission of proposals, daily and weekly communication with new prospects and the reporting on such activities; cold-calling; pipeline activities and closings to appropriate Company management.
Secure contracts for “upgrades” or new services, educational programs and or other product(s).Interact with various sales project management teams to ensure top-quality programs and customer satisfaction.
Develop and comply with sales operations / marketing policy and procedures including but not limited to Sales pipeline policy and procedure; Branding policy and procedure; Intranet policy and procedure; Sales contact reporting; Commission plan policy, T&E policies; as well as all proposal, pricing, and change order submission procedures, etc.
Monitor delivery to ensure contract requirements and customer’s expectations are met.
Manage sales personnel to meet and or exceed quotas set by incumbent and senior management.
Ensure commissions are paid to staff per terms of written commission plans, created by incumbent and senior management, including Finance.
Education and/or Experience:

Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) from a four (4) year college or university plus ten (10) or more years health & wellness/pharmaceutical/medical/education/publishing or other Company related experience required. Sales, project management experience and Customer development/tracking software experience required.
