About the Vice President, Client Development
- This person will be a member of our Senior Leadership Team and will be involved in the highest level of decision making in the business.
- They will be the leader of the Innovation Strategy including all new client development functions (both fields based and centralized organizations)
- This person will be supporting the solution positioning including the integration with marketing programs, packaging/pricing and company-wide sales programs.
- This person will need to work in a very fluid and agile environment as these are new solutions and new markets
- They will focus on sustaining and growing our market share through revenue growth in solutions, clients and domestic market segments as well as potential for global opportunities should those become applicable
- This person will provide support and perspectives for future partnership strategies.
- We are seeking a person to develop positioning the âInnovative Solutions â so they quickly become part of the core portfolio and deliver significant revenue. The person will need to align to the vision for the future state and support aligning the needs and the goals of their team to ensure organization-wide cohesion at all levels.
Executive Group
- Collaborate with Executive team on organizational strategy.
- Promote Netsmart values of vison, cause connection, results vs. effort with edge
Sales Development
- Gather data on competition / market.
- Make plans for geographical development.
- Engage with Sales team to ensure that revenue and profit targets are met.
- Partner with other Executives internally to align product plans for market share growth.
Portfolio Management
- Manage product portfolio and R&D commitments for market share growth.
- Make investment recommendations.
Client Experience
- Define what adds value for clients and their evolving needs.
- Create and implement metrics to measure and improve client interactions.
- Promote organization wide initiatives to involve all associates in client focused performance.
Integration
- Collaborate with Organizations/teams within Netsmart to assist with decision making and vision alignment.
- Promote inter-organization communication. Results vs Effort.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 4-year college degree and/or equivalent, relevant experience
- Experience in portfolio and solutions sales in a corporate environment, Home Care and/or Post-Acute Markets
- Ability to structure and manage complex transactions and deal terms
- Dexterity in managing simultaneous projects with multiple stakeholders
- Successful track record of solution and/or portfolio sales vs. product
- Agile and able to function in a highly collaborative environment
- Demonstrated ability to build and sustain strong relationships at multiple levels internally and with partners; high emotional intelligence and an ability to be challenged in a nuanced way
- Proven experience in creating solutions from a portfolio to provide outcomes and return on investment to existing and new prospects
- Ideal candidate is entrepreneurial and driven by a new challenge
- Willingness to travel 50-70% and work against tight deadlines
Preferred Qualifications:
- Healthcare Technology industry experience
- MBA or relevant post graduate degree
- 7-10 years of Health care sales
- Working experience in both Consulting and Software sales preferred
- Willing to be individual contributor as well as near-term potential to lead teams
- Kansas City residence a plus; otherwise, residence near a major city airport acceptable
- Value Based Care experience a plus
