Summary
The Senior Vice President of Sales for ABM Technical Solutions (ATS) responsible for growing and developing ABMâs business by securing new clients and by expanding our services within existing accounts across all Industry Groups. ATS is ABMâs largest Sales Team and our fastest growing business. This leadership role is critical to building the Team, driving the growth culture, and delivering the business results. The SVP of Sales will partner with our operations and local sales teams to optimize coverage and results. In addition to sales leadership SVP of Sales is a strategic role contributing to the overall ABM Enterprise Growth Culture. The SVP reports directly to the President of Sales for the enterprise.
Essential Responsibilities
Develops sales and marketing strategic business plans to drive revenue and increase market share
Establishes Sales Targets and strategy to deliver sales and margin goals
Leads multiple sales disciplines including Maintenance, Projects, Lighting, Power, Mission Critical, and Energy
Functions as a business partner to the Operations Leadership to deliver on Client Expectations
Provides subject matter expertise and support to Sales Teams
Collaborate with Enterprise Sales Leadership to drive sales absolutes and sales initiatives
Develop and deliver presentations for new business pursuits
Engage in trade shows and industry events
Execute and help develop market strategies
Use CRM tool (Salesforce) to track sales pipeline, activities, and sales results
Maintain ongoing clear communication with executive leadership
Develop and implement sales selling cycle and methodology based on market research and competitor analyses
Analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of sales, methods, costs, and results
Maintain key customer relationships; develop and implement strategies for expanding the Companyâs customer base Develop and execute an effective marketing plan and go-to-market strategy for new and existing services
Collect and analyze market research, customer research, and competitive analysis
Serve as the internal and external evangelist for all ABM solutions, working with the sales team, support team, and key customers as necessary
Constantly monitor the competitive landscape and market conditions to identify opportunities, issues, and risks to recommend tactical strategies
Job Requirements:
Minimum 10+ years of experience in executive level sales and marketing leadership
Experience in similar business model and scope of offerings to our Technical Solutions Business
Strategic Planning at an executive level
Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements
Proven leadership and ability to drive sales and marketing teams
Looks for innovative solutions that bring unique value to the ABM portfolio of customers
Willingness and ability to contribute to top and bottom line revenue growth through personal sales achievements as well as supporting senior sales leaders/executives to meet sales objectives
Working in collaborative environment and supporting operational personnel to also meet sales plans
Experience with enterprise software solutions, sales CRM specifically salesforce.com, and large, complex organizations
Experience in developing and working with executive level client relationships
Ability to travel at least 50% or more
