Role Description:
The VMware Office of the CTO (OCTO) is looking for a talented Senior Program Manager who is passionate about building diverse teams, fostering an inclusive environment, and driving communications efforts within a global organization. Leading OCTO’s university recruiting and internship programs within the organization, the candidate will partner closely with OCTO leadership, HR and hiring teams, and University Engagement leaders to enhance outreach programs for OCTO and develop strategies to build a diverse and inclusive top talent community within OCTO. The role will also be responsible for executing OCTO’s Diversity & Inclusion (D&I) and talent development plans. The candidate has experience building university recruiting and top talent recruiting programs, a can-do attitude, and enjoys working collaboratively across the organization. The candidate is also comfortable bringing new disruptive ideas forward, getting buy-in, and enthusiastic about building a culture of innovation.

- Work with Operations leader to further define and execute the Office of the CTO’s D&I plan
- Partner with OCTO Leadership, VMW HR and Talent Acquisition to impact and expand the organization’s recruiting efforts
- Lead and execute efforts that help build an inclusive and collaborative community within Office of the CTO
- Drive communication initiatives that promote, connect and engage OCTO employees.
- Work with Operations leader to further define and execute the Office of the CTO’s D&I plan
Required Skills:
- Must have 7+ year of experience working in a professional environment.
- Energy and passion around making an organization diverse and inclusive.
- Experience building high-impact, global programs
- Proven partnership with HR and Talent Acquisition groups to develop solid diverse and inclusive programs.
- Clear, articulate interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong writing and editing abilities.
- Great attention to detail and data-oriented personality.
- Balanced strategic and tactical approach.
- Creative problem-solving and flexibility.
- Self-directed, and the ability to manage multiple and concurrent projects.
