We would like to appoint and SVP, Data + Analytics to become an accelerant and further catalyst for development of our Innovation + Creative Hub in NY, being part of the team that turns this in to a leading creative, strategic and innovation center of excellence for our clients & the network.

Our Data + Analytics lead is a vital role within the I+C hub, ensuring all of our work is underpinned by meaningful analysis and an innovative, industry-leading approach to measurement.

They will be responsible for directing and shaping the way we measure & examine data across the US from multiple disparate sources, working closely with client teams to turn this into compelling insights that drive competitive advantage.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and define H+K US’ approach to measurement and analytics, bringing fresh thinking to this function and ensuring we are building a team that’s forward-looking
  • Lead, recruit and mentor a team to deliver this, being a magnet for the best talent in the business
  • Lead and deliver multiple projects for strategically important clients, using data for insights or measurement to showcase the impact of PR and social on the bottom line
  • Manage and work on a variety of projects at the same time, often for a number of different clients and under tight deadlines
  • Provide insights and new ways of visualizing analytical findings for monthly, quarterly or yearly ‘deep dive’ reports
  • Explore new technologies and bring them in to the business; allowing our other I+C specialist expertise to work more efficiently, be fed with better insights, develop stronger creative strategy, or keep track of what’s being said across social platforms
  • Manage and oversee the administration, management and training of our software investments (Brandwatch, influencer marketing tools etc)
  • Demonstrate a solid grasp of statistics and analytical techniques
  • Support client teams and help to identify new opportunities, provide insight and direction in new business opportunities
  • Act as a spokesperson on insight gathering and measurement for the agency
  • Preparation and presentation of data and insight workshops to clients

Qualifications:

  • 10-12 years of research and measurement experience with a focus on digital media measurement, social analytics and PR (agency experience and traditional press PR measurement a plus)
  • Proven experience building and managing a team and client projects
  • Advanced use of Excel
  • Experience with database management & analytics tools a plus (SQL, SPSS)
  • Familiarity with social listening platforms, owned social channel data, Cision, C3, Trendkite, Kantar and primary research
  • Previous client facing account management experience in public relations or associated disciplines, specifically in data + insights for global or multi-market accounts
  • Proven portfolio of defining measurement approaches
  • Experience of working with a creative brand and design agency to create a strong visual style for presenting data is highly desirable
