We believe innovation is fueled through diversity and inclusion. We’re looking for a bold and passionate leader to serve as the Sr. Program Manager for our We Care and Give Back program. You will partner with a stakeholders across the business to deliver against our WCGB and D&I priorities and contribute to building an inclusive work environment through education, advocacy and community outreach/volunteerism.
This position reports to the Global D&I Leader.
Responsibilities
- Create and execute strategy to build Intuit’s capability toward skills based volunteering
o Partner with Corporate Responsibility (CR) Teams within Intuit to engage employees in skills based/CR aligned strategic volunteering
o Partner with local site leads to deliver volunteer opportunities aligned with our CR mission to power prosperity for those who need it most.
o Implement partnerships (as needed) with 3rd party providers who specialize in skills based volunteering to act as intermediaries to connect our employees with external opportunities
- Manage projects to create structure that supports our employee volunteering efforts
o Make it easy for employees to log their hours
o Create and execute a plan to engage leaders to support employee volunteer participation and lead by example
o Create and execute strategy to better engage front line/customer facing employees in volunteering efforts
- Partner with communications team to:
o Drive awareness campaign to ensure employees know about WCGB benefits and how to get involved
o Tell our story internally and externally – collect and share stories from employees who have volunteered and the impact to the community
- Support with other D&I priorities as needed
Qualifications
- Ability to work in a boundaryless way and actively build effective relationships across the organization at all levels
- Demonstrated ability to partner with teammates and jointly own a shared goal with others
- Experience influencing and motivating leaders and peers to drive change
- Exceptional program creation and program management skills with the ability to manage numerous projects at once
- Ability to operate independently as a self-starter and as a member of a team with enormous drive and internal motivation to make progress
- Strategic thinker and has a real vision and passion for changing the world; Continuously think about what’s possible
- End to end thinker who balances not only what can be done, but how it can be done
- Strong change leadership and communication skills (written and verbal)
- Experience working globally
- Advanced application of D4D methodology and principles- Empathy for customers and a base understanding of Design for Delight (D4D) principles (how we develop offerings based on customer needs)
- Experience working in the Diversity and Inclusion field preferred
- University degree – related field.
