Position Description

Develops processes and procedures and drives behavior change and process improvement programs for complex areas of responsibility by
analyzing data in order to identify, drive, and sustain changes to standards, processes, governance, and workflows; evaluating key business
components (for example, processes, workflows, key performance indicators, dashboards) in order to assess current performance baselines;
partnering with cross-functional teams to develop operational strategy to simplify processes, providing guidance and expertise on company policies
and procedures; monitoring program performance in relation to metrics; ensuring program processes are clear and executable with manageable
rollout plans; consulting with cross-functional teams to gain alignment on improvement solutions; ensuring process is sustainable for future use; and
communicating changes and solutions to key stakeholders in order to get buy-in an drive behavior change.

Provides support and direction for maintenance department operation in the Supply Chain network by working with management and other key
associates to identify improvement opportunities and implement ideas; developing and communicating key performance and financial indicators and providing direction regarding levels of spending; influencing regional teams in critical decisions; coordinating with business partners to implement
action plans and document results; and supporting the development of corrective action plans to resolve equipment and process issues.
Manages, protects, and improves Walmart assets by supporting the regional operations teams during the budgeting development and approval
process; monitoring capital spending plans and expense budgets; driving reliability and improved maintenance practices, equipment enhancements,
and replacements; auditing facility asset base, (for example, building structure, grounds, material handling equipment, energy center); advising on condition of assets for future replacements and maintenance needs; developing annual plans to maintain facilities and equipment at acceptable
operating conditions; providing input to operations and maintenance to avoid future asset damage; and developing budget forecasts for five year plan and annual capital and expense budgets for facilities within the region.
Drives the execution of multiple business plans and projects by identifying customer and operational needs; developing and communicating business
plans and priorities; removing barriers and obstacles that impact performance; providing resources; identifying performance standards; measuring progress and adjusting performance accordingly; developing contingency plans; and demonstrating adaptability and supporting continuous learning. Provides supervision and development opportunities for associates by selecting and training; mentoring; assigning duties; building a team-based work environment; establishing performance expectations and conducting regular performance evaluations; providing recognition and rewards; coaching for success and improvement; and ensuring diversity awareness.

Promotes and supports company policies, procedures, mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity by training and providing direction to
others in their use and application; ensuring compliance with them; and utilizing and supporting the Open Door Policy.

Ensures business needs are being met by evaluating the ongoing effectiveness of current plans, programs, and initiatives; consulting with business partners, managers, co-workers, or other key stakeholders; soliciting, evaluating, and applying suggestions for improving efficiency and cost effectiveness; and participating in and supporting community outreach events. Travels internationally to and from multiple facilities or work-sites requiring extended overnight stays.


Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field AND 4 years’ experience in maintenance, operations or related field OR 6 years’ experience in
maintenance, operations, or related field.

2 years’ supervisory experience.
4 years’ experience in heavy equipment or related area.
3 years’ experience leading cross-functional task forces or projects.
