K.P. Kauffman Company has an opening for a full time Project Manager / Administrator.
Summary: This position is mid level and undertakes a wide variety of duties, with it’s primary focus on project management.
Responsibilities:
- Project Leader – initiate, plan, execute, monitor and control, and close open production work orders via leading / coaching team members to achieve company goals and meet specific success criteria at the specified time
- A/R duties – gathering receipts, invoices and then code before send to Corporate Accounting for processing
- HR duties – liaison between employee(s) and Corporate HR/payroll as it relates to new hire and separation paperwork, benefits paperwork, work comp and accident report information coordination, and uniform ordering and tracking, etc.
- Payroll duties – timekeeping setup, verification of hours, send information to Corporate Payroll for processing
- Other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skill and Ability:
- Minimum 2 years progressive project management experience
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Effective organization and time management skills
- Ability to analyze and solve problems
- Ability to act and be a team player
- Ability to comfortably interact with people at all organizational levels
- Experience with inventory counts and reconciliations preferred
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Associates Degree preferred
Material and Equipment directly used:
- Computer, MS Office (Word, Excel), Outlook, Scanner, Copier
Working Environment / Physical Activities:
- Casual office
- Schedule is Monday – Friday 7am – 3pm; available for OT as needed
- Travel 5% – drive to DMV for titles and license plates, drive to field to deliver a part
