Job Description:

We are looking for a qualified project manager to join our team. You will be responsible for the day-to-day management and operation of various projects, including multi-faceted advertising campaigns. You should be able to manage and deliver multiple projects with tight deadlines.

Accountabilities :

  • Report to the SVP, Operations.
  • Learn and help enforce our new PM driven workflow model through your disciplined approach to project management.
  • Manage assigned projects and resources through our new workflow management platform, Workfront.
  • Represent and account for your project and resources while attending daily PM scrum meetings.
  • Learn and adopt our scrum methodology and toolset.
  • Quickly become a Workfront power user. This includes an expert level understanding of the platform functionality from an end user perspective including troubleshooting and support questions from agency staff.
  • Work with other PM team members in support of testing and implementation of future Workfront functionality or customizations.
  • Help develop custom reporting and dashboards out of Workfront that deliver insights to key management across gyro teams.
  • Create solid project plans and budgets that support both the company’s and client’s interests.
  • Work with account teams to scope projects and ensure that projects are managed according to the statement of work., ultimately responsible for profitability and on-time delivery.
  • Oversee management of client and agency staff in profitable delivery of work according to scope.
  • Manage project communication and document issues and changes that affect the project.
  • Manage, monitor, and maintain the project scope and communicate status of scope to team members.
  • Engage in and/or lead client facing meetings around project planning, progress reporting, or changes in scope.
  • In collaboration with other PM team members, enforce, influence and evangelize process improvement initiatives across multiple departments.
  • Ensure that workflow processes are adhered to while communicating and rationalizing any unique needs of the local office to the SVP Operations.
  • Work with department heads to schedule resources and regulate investment of staff time.
  • Regularly communicate status of projects by means of weekly meetings, status reports, and updates.
  • Help to maintain overall quality by ensuring proofing, review and approval of deliverables according to internal routing procedures.
  • Diplomatically enforce deadlines.
  • Works across various accounts at a time and lead the execution of multiple dynamic campaigns from conception through to final delivery
  • Provides expertise in trafficking a high volume of work in a dynamic environment
  • Monitors, reports, and leads scope, resources, scheduling, budgets and tracking as well as developments of project plans
  • Collaborates extensively with external parties to build, and maintain key relationships
  • Offers a sound operational and implementation-based understanding of the deliverables to craft structure and process that facilitates complete expectation management
  • Builds and maintain evolving schedules from creative development through production, managing change requests effectively and efficiently
  • Runs the production phase of deliverables, including print, interactive and video materials. This includes vendor management, cost management and quality assurance of final deliverable
  • Acts as the main point of contact to 3rd party suppliers across the project duration.
  • Acts as an internal hub of information helping to de-mystify project delivery processes for internal teams as well as clients
  • Obtains necessary approvals from required departments by initiating and planning internal review meetings
  • Actively keeps teams informed through daily status documents, meetings and follow-up and provide status on progress, issues and risks internally and externally
  • Stays on top of capabilities to deliver on expectation, on time, within budget, and at highest quality level

Education and/or Experience:

  • 3+ years experience as a project manager
  • Digital experience is a plus

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Be able to handle multiple and simultaneous deadlines
  • You have excellent interpersonal and analytical skills and you’re a phenomenal teammate
  • Knowledge of production verbiage and expertise with project management software tools
