Description:
The Project Manager reports to our Project Management Office Manager and is responsible for leading cross-functional new product development teams throughout the entire development cycle from concept to manufactured product. Manage non-product development corporate initiatives.

A successful candidate will:

  • In conjunction with the Product Manager, manages and maintains product requirements and specifications throughout the product development process.
  • Coordinate product development team activities between multiple company departments.
  • Develop product development project plans/schedules.
  • Ensure product developed meets or exceeds product specifications.
  • Lead product development team meetings and generate task lists.
  • Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
  • Assist the Project Management Office Manager with refining the new product development process.
  • Manage project scope and schedule creep.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time.
  • Develop project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensure technical feasibility.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Identify resource conflicts and work with Functional managers to resolve.

Requirements:

  • Proven proficiency in leading product development teams.
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
  • Demonstrated electronics/mechanical design/product development from concept to manufactured product.
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and organize effectively and manage multiple projects and assignments.
  • Excellent critical thinking skills.
  • Proven success in a fast changing environment.
  • Detail oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical,Computer or Mechanical Engineering or similar and minimum 7 years of relevant experience required, or five years’ relevant experience with an advanced degree.
  • Working knowledge of technology, principles, and general practice associated with engineering.
