The Project Manager reports to our Project Management Office Manager and is responsible for leading cross-functional new product development teams throughout the entire development cycle from concept to manufactured product. Manage non-product development corporate initiatives.

A successful candidate will:
- In conjunction with the Product Manager, manages and maintains product requirements and specifications throughout the product development process.
- Coordinate product development team activities between multiple company departments.
- Develop product development project plans/schedules.
- Ensure product developed meets or exceeds product specifications.
- Lead product development team meetings and generate task lists.
- Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
- Assist the Project Management Office Manager with refining the new product development process.
- Manage project scope and schedule creep.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time.
- Develop project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensure technical feasibility.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Identify resource conflicts and work with Functional managers to resolve.
Requirements:
- Proven proficiency in leading product development teams.
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
- Demonstrated electronics/mechanical design/product development from concept to manufactured product.
- Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.
- Ability to prioritize and organize effectively and manage multiple projects and assignments.
- Excellent critical thinking skills.
- Proven success in a fast changing environment.
- Detail oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical,Computer or Mechanical Engineering or similar and minimum 7 years of relevant experience required, or five yearsâ relevant experience with an advanced degree.
- Working knowledge of technology, principles, and general practice associated with engineering.
