San Antonio Pool Management provides pool management/lifeguard staffing, pool service and repairs and renovations to HOAs (Home Owner’s Associations), municipalities and country clubs. San Antonio Pool Management is a fully functioning pool management company in the San Antonio area with significant revenues and on-going contracts. This opening presents an excellent opportunity for the right person to take over an established operation and generate additional growth.

The current President/General Manager is moving to another position within San Antonio Pool Management primarily focused on pool repair and renovation. He will be assisting the new GM and helping San Antonio Pool Management continue its success.

Job Description

The President and General Manager of San Antonio Pool Management has overall responsibility for the operation and profits of this San Antonio area company. Overall responsibilities include all pool operations, sales of contracts, revenue and expense management, hiring and managing lifeguard and operations staff, and customer service and administration. The newly hired company leader will be trained in The Pool Management Group methods, standards, and operational processes and will utilize our proven methods and tools (admin, operations, technology, HR, lifeguard hiring and training and more). Our unique business model enables each of our companies to be supported by our national resources and expertise, yet operate autonomously at their location.

Qualifications and Skills

  • College degree required
  • Minimum 5 years experience in a leadership position
  • Self-starter, highly motivated, and an entrepreneurial spirit
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast paced environment working long, hard hours in the spring and summer
  • Excellent time management skills with ability to juggle multiple tasks
  • Experience successfully leading and motivating a team of employees
  • Experience interfacing with customers and potential customers
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
  • Desire and ability to be coached by our leadership and use our proven processes
  • Desire to make commercial swimming pool management your long term career
  • Experience with swimming pools and/or aquatic safety preferred

Compensation and Benefits

We offer comprehensive benefits to full time employees including medical insurance (company pays 50% of employee’s premium), long term disability insurance and 401(k) with 20% match.

Compensation is a percentage of annual profits, and there is no ceiling. Starting compensation is $80,000, based on existing contracts of the company, with a potential year-end bonus projected to be $15,000+ (dependent on final profits for the year).
