Who you are
As an integral member of the Real Estate and Workplace (CRE&WP) team with Colliers and Alliant. You will work closely with the department lead of Alliant based in the Newport Beach, CA office. You will collaborate with the entire Colliers and Alliant CRE&WP team, its vendors and additional insourced and outsourced partners to provide coordination and support in the overall operations of the department.
You’re highly organized and have a keen eye for details, ensuring a high standard of quality in everything you do. You bring a customer service-oriented attitude who thrives in a deadline-driven and fast-paced environment. You have a keen sense of accountability and exceptional follow-up skills. Most importantly you bring a positive “can do” attitude and interest in commercial real estate!
What you bring
- Bachelors degree in business, finance, economics or related
- At least 1-3 years of administrative or accounting experience in commercial real estate.
- High proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
- Basic knowledge of financial terms and principles associated with rent payments, operating expenses and related financial fundamentals
- Excellent communications skills, both oral and written.
- Interest to collaborate, be proactive and problem solve.
Bonus skills and experience
- Proficiency with Adobe Suite (InDesign)
What success looks like
- You have strong planning and organizational skills and are highly effective at prioritizing tasks to see them through to completion.
- You have the ability to comprehend and interpret instructions, short correspondence, and memos and ask clarifying questions to ensure understanding. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from end users, clients, co-workers, vendors and/or supervisors. Ability to effectively present information to an internal department and/or large groups of employees.
- You shall perform a variety of administrative tasks for the Real Estate team to ensure transaction efficiency and coordination with end users, landlord’s and the collective CRE&WP team and its vendors and/or partners. This can include proposal review, space planning review and coordination, site evaluations, among other tasks. Further, the candidate shall be responsible for the management and administering of the executive suite portfolio for Alliant.
- You will be responsible for miscellaneous projects and tasks that support the corporate real estate portfolio and reporting. This can include a variety of tasks and projects such and end user facility responsiveness and coordination of resources, CRE&WP team meeting coordination, executive presentation development as well as additional ad hoc special projects or needs.
