    Job Description

    Position Title: Project Manager
    Location: Richmond, VA
    Type: Full Time Contract
    Duration: Long Term

    Responsibilities:

    • Oversee all aspects of the project, leading a team on large projects or a significant segment of large and complex projects
    • Ensure projects are delivered according to the objectives, timeline and budget set out by the business
    • Monitor alignment between the project and the organization through effective stakeholder management as well as communication and change management
    • Analyze new and complex project-related problems and create innovative solutions that normally involve the schedule, technology, methodology, tools, solution components, and financial management of the project
    • Provide business and system analysis and long and short-range plans for business solution, systems development and maintenance, and production activities for necessary support resources
    • Assessed and administered changes so that change control activities are planned and executed in conformance with procedures
    • Shepherd projects through appropriate compliance gates to meet systems lifecycle requirements

    Qualifications:

    • 4 year degree
    • 5-7 years of experience
    • PMP
    • Experience working in a cross functional delivery team environment
    • Strong verbal and written communications skills are a must
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project
    • Strong decision making and influencing skills with ability to influence at all levels in the organization
    • Demonstrated ability to successfully engage stakeholders and to facilitate meetings/workshops as necessary to achieve business objectives
    • IT Infrastructure preferred

    Job Type: Full-time

    Salary: $40.00 to $50.00 /hour
