POSITION SUMMARY:

The Manufacturing Project Manager is responsible for driving projects from beginning to end. This position uses project management skills to guide each department toward continuous improvement. This position will frequently study and document operational procedures and gather process metrics to report on performance and identify trends and areas for improvement.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Coordinate department projects

2. Build reports and visual communication to convey data

3. Train departments in Lean procedures

4. Implement procedures to help improve department processes

5. Other duties as assigned.

· Strong project management skills preferred (implementation and follow up)

· Experience with Lean concepts and training others

· Strong engagement and influencing approach

· Computer skills are required.

· Self-motivated, self-starter.

· Knowledge of a wide variety of production processes preferred.

· Skill of effective communication; must be able to work with supervisory personnel and plant personnel.

· Sitting at a desk frequently and walking through the plant frequently.

· Lift 30 lbs. frequently from floor to above head.

· Lift 50 lbs. occasionally from floor to above head.

· Occasionally using a stool or ladder for reaching high places

· Occasionally bending, stooping and twisting.

· Must be able to keep a calm disposition under stress.

WORK SCHEDULE:

The Manufacturing Project Manager is a full-time, 40 hour per week position. The hours of this position are Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. Extra time is necessary when needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $45,000.00 to $50,000.00 /year
