IT Security Project Manager

Job responsibilities

Perform IT and Risk application assessments and identify the design of risk and controls.
  • Take ownership of preparation of compliance reports and escalation of compliance issues through proper governance channels.
  • Ensure risk assessments are performed efficiently and effectively by collaborating within the IT and Business stakeholders.
  • Issues raised during risk assessment needs to be tracked and proper closure should be ensured.
  • Take complete ownership of all the IT deliverables under the purview.
  • Involvement in New vendor Assessments, application classifications, data and system classifications, application security reviews, IT security control implementation, evidentiary testing documentation, Knowledge transfer to control owners and final risk assessment approval
  • Able to lead multiple projects with competing priorities and deadlines..

Experience

  • Security standards, guidelines and regulatory/compliance requirements related to information security frameworks – ISO 27001, ISO 27018, NIST 800-53, PCI DSS, SOC2, HIPAA, SOX, etc
  • GDPR and EU data privacy regulations – understanding.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, effective communication and process drive across management, multiple stakeholders and internal/external Auditors
