Summary:

We are seeking experienced Project Management professionals for our EPMO team to provide a consistent project management process and framework for the bank. In this role, you will apply your project management experience to manage key IT projects in support of various business functions. You will manage all project activities and deliverables for successful implementation of technology solutions to satisfy business requirements


Major Responsibilities:

o Manages medium and large sized projects independently, following all requirements of the project life cycle and methodology

o Provides support to senior project managers on larger projects and programs, ensuring project goals are met.

o With oversight from senior project managers, provides articulate and accurate reporting to appropriate stakeholders.

o Assists with the management of project teams and stakeholders.

o Drives project completion successfully by achieving all milestones within each project, and meeting business requirements within the approved budget and timeline.

o Communicates clearly and concisely in both oral and written contexts, and comfortable giving and receiving feedback.

o Creates and maintains the Project Work Breakdown Structure

o Maintains the Project Issues and Risks Log

o Monitors and maintains project financials and forecast

o Assumes accountability for going beyond bounds of own job or project to address issues and opportunities

o Manages time, resources and workload efficiently and effectively

o Reliability and quality of data, deliverables and reports is high

Qualifications:

o Strong Communication & Presentation Skills (verbal and written, clear, concise, and audience appropriate)

o Ability to coordinate and manage small but diverse project teams

o Ability to build mutually beneficial and respectful business relationships with all parties

o Ability to produce quality project documentation including status reports and executive presentations (e.g., produces complete, accurate, and consistent deliverables)

o Detail Oriented – Ensures own work product and those of others is accurate and thorough

o Knowledge of MS Office applications, experience with MS Project or equivalent an advantage.

o Innate ability to understand process, think outside the box and work well with others.

o Solid understanding and planning skills in all aspects of the system’s/business project life-cycle, i.e., enhancements, user requirements, application configuration and usage using MS Project as the project planning tool.

o Analytical capability to identify issues and risks and troubleshoot problems

o Understanding of PLC/tools/templates/processes

o Experience; 5 – 7 years in the project management field.

o 4 year Bachelor’s Degree required

o Progress towards completion of PMP or other PM certification (preferred)

o Independently and successfully managed multiple small and medium projects up to $5MM with a duration of at least 6 months to 2 yrs

o Worked under a senior project manager on at least one large scale project of $5MM or larger with a duration of at least 2 yrs
