Full Job Description
Summary: Define, document and delivers medium to large-scale, strategic customer projects. Actively participates and leads in all phases of the project life cycle from design, execution to post-production support.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Overall project management including coordinating with internal and external stakeholders for all phases of the projects â project design, planning, execution, controlling, and closing
- Identifies, assesses and manages risks and issues to the success of the project.
- Work closely with internal implementation leads to deliver project deliverable documents, plans, status updates, etc.
- Have effective control, leadership and responsibility for the defined scope of the project – including: project level change control
- Develops and leads the process for dealing with rapid major changes
- Ensures the communication channels and processes are in place to notify the relevant people (e.g. sponsors, executives, and vertical owners) so that plans can be amended, and the necessary actions taken
- Ensures that project team is delivering core milestones and deliverables using defined and agreed upon processes and reporting
- Produce timely and effective status reports and dashboards for external and internal stakeholders
- Provides consistent operating structure of core client/internal project meetings with established documentation (e.g. meeting agendas, meeting notes, actions/issues lists)
- Actively participate in business development activities with proposal and business development teams whenever needed
- Contribute to RFP bid response process with project management schedules, DRAFT project plans, implementation timelines and resource requirements, etc.
- Participate in decisions regarding implementation and project management tools and processes
- Ensures established budget is adhered to based upon project requirements.
Minimum Requirements
Education: Bachelor Degree, business process outsourcing experience along with Project Management Education or Certification.
Experience:
- 1 to 2 years of experience in business process outsourcing industry, preferable contact center environment
- 3 to 5 years in project management
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects with complicated work streams
- High-level knowledge of both agile and traditional project management principles and practices and the ability to blend them together in the right proportions to fit a project and business environment
- Proven track record to manage medium to large-scale complex projects with minimum supervision
- Ability to manage scope changes and risks/issues to ensure delivery of core milestones and deliverables are still met

- Must have held Project Management role with experience with outsourcing projects
