As the Head of pricing analytics for Diebold Nixdorf you will lead a team of analysts and be responsible to build and deploy advanced pricing analytical capabilities in the organization.
Location: Atlanta
The areas of focus for you would be to;
- Build KPI reporting to ensure field is executing on the pricing strategies
- Monitor impact of pricing initiatives to business financials
- Build predictive models to shape and optimize future strategies
In general you should help to drive the transformation to establish pricing as a strategic lever in the business. For that you should use best in-class industry standards and adapt them to the specific needs of Diebold Nixdorfâs business. Linked to that you should analyze market trends and competitive behaviors to shape pricing strategy in alignment with the Segment strategy teams.
Qualifications:
- Bachelorâs degree; in Econometrics, statistics, industrial engineering or similar. Masterâs degree strongly preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in working in a pricing analytics team or as a pricing strategy consultant in an industry leading consulting company;
- Profound knowledge of industry standard pricing approaches as well as analytical skills
- Strong working knowledge of SAP and Oracle Data. Prior experience in designing and implementing integrated data models from multiple data sources
- Strong experience with statistical modeling, data wrangling and visualization tools
- Ability to leverage both qualitative and quantitative data to evaluate and understand key drivers of sales channel and product performance, viability and profitability
- Demonstrated ability to champion projects from beginning through implementation, meet deadlines, handle multiple priorities and perform job responsibilities accurately with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail, data accuracy with an ability to consolidate multiple sources of information/analyses into a cohesive story/recommendation demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to influence others with the story behind the data; ability to communicate concepts to a non-technical audience as well as the ability to advise senior leadership in a clear and concise manner
- Ideally experience from the IT, Software or Services business
- International business background is preferred
- Excellent Business English skills (spoken and written)
- High company commitment as well as result orientated;
- Team skills and flexibility to work in an international network;
- Strong communication skills as well outstanding capabilities in building comprehensive presentations
- Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills; the ability to work through complex, unstructured problems
