Job Purpose
- Establish a Kimble product-related training and education function (“academy”) to address the needs of both internal and external audiences.
- Understand and address the training needs of customers, employees and partners (both referral and implementation).
- Manage the design, creation, delivery and administration of training curricula, associated material, delivery mechanisms and monitor its effectiveness.
- Work with the existing product documentation team that are responsible for configuration guides, feature guides and help material.
Job Duties
- Maintains a catalogue of training curricula
- Oversees training courses that include web-based seminars, public classroom, private classroom, self-guided training courses, in-app micro-learning, training manuals, training videos, and more
- Determines training needs and requirements of a specific audience and organization or group in coordination with key stakeholders
- Reviews existing training materials to determine appropriateness and relevance
- Modifies or creates course materials and training manuals to meet specific training needs, such as private training requests
- Presents in-person and online training sessions or hires qualified personnel to do so
- Schedules training sessions, organizes information technology and other equipment, and manages course enrolment
- Monitors training courses and material to ensure that they are effective and up-to-date and ensures they are updated as necessary
- Works with key stakeholders to address learning issues, instruction problems, or new needs regarding specific audiences to define curricula
- Develop an accreditation program for a subset of curricula, defined in conjunction with key stakeholders
- Manages costs for all curricula, courses, and delivery in order to report to organization executives regarding a return on investment
- Specializes in the Professional Services industry and keeps current on the activities and needs of that industry by attending regular meetings, conferences, and seminars
- Maintains understanding of new educational and training techniques and methods
Skills and Qualifications
- Experience of managing or involvement in the establishment and running of a business-to-business training department/academy for an enterprise-class software solution, ideally in the ERP/Finance or Professional Services area.
- Siginificant experience in delivering training courses for enterprise-class software solutions. Plus managing training analysts in the development and delivery of courses.
- Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal communication, team management, problem solving, critical thinking, planning skills, time management, attention to detail, decision making skills required.
Location
This is a global role, it would be preferable for this role to be located in one of our principal offices in London, Boston or Park City.
