SeKON is looking for a Configuration Manager to join our talented and innovative team supporting the Defense Healthcare Management Systems (DHMS) and it’s program offices in Arlington, VA. The mission lifecycle of DHMS is to competitively acquire, test, deliver and successfully transition to a state-of-the-market electronic health record (EHR) system. In partnership with the Defense Health Agency (DHA), Services and Industry, DHMS is developing a deployment and sustainment strategy to optimize the delivery of a modernized EHR with minimal disruption to the military health care community.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Active DoD Secret Clearance required
  • Experience participating in targeted CM intake, distribution and Change Control Board (CCB) activities
  • Experience delivering technical CM training related to specific systems such as: Rational Team Concert (RTC), AMRDEC Safe Access File Exchange (SAFE), Virtual Collaboration Site (VCS), amoung others
  • Experience supporting stakeholders’ management in relation to Change Requests (CR) and CCB’s
  • Must be able to execute day-to-day stakeholder communications specific to the CM activities
  • Experience refining and deploying Configuration Management Documentation
  • Experience establishing and maintaining an integrated CM repository of program documentation, metadata and source code
  • Experience tracking and monitoring configuration items for the teams to ensure compliance with procedure
  • Experience in providing statistical metric reports on team performances to the business
  • Must be willing to serve in a variety of ad hoc roles to include, but not limited to proposal writing, editing, and reviewing

DESIRED SKILLS:

  • Experience with Configuration Management (CM) and system functionality across Defense Healthcare Management System (DHMS) and programs preferred but not required.
  • Knowledge in variou types of office automation to include Microsoft Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Visio, Project and Access)
  • Experience with presentation development and technical writing
  • Experience working multiple projects concurrently within deadlines while ensuring that complex information is conveyed in a clear, accurate and concise manner under normal and critical situations
  • Qualified candidates should be detail oriented
  • Superior communication and customer service skills
