Position Description

Position Title:
Vice President, Marketing Manager – Paid Media and Portfolio Marketing

Department:
Travel & Affinity Partners – Co-brand Marketing supporting the Intercontinental Hotel Group (IHG) program


Position Summary:

This position has broad responsibilities and is a key contributor to achieving the growth goals of the IHG co-brand program. Specifically, this position is responsible for leading the brand awareness strategy via paid and earned media and developing portfolio engagement campaigns such as product upgrade campaigns to drive profitable sales growth. This role involves heavy interaction with the co-brand partner, internal partners such as Corporate Marketing and the team’s external media and creative agency.

Essential Functions:
  • Nimble team player with strong influencing skills and ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously
  • Understanding of full marketing funnel and how to maximize efforts throughout with appropriate creative tactics and targeting
  • Digital Marketing experience, specifically with paid media. Background with attribution models, tagging, and campaign reporting is a plus
  • Responsible for multi-million dollar media budget
  • Portfolio campaign strategist and knowledge of P&L drivers
  • Work closely with Card Corporate Marketing Group, Digital Media Management Team, Public Relations, Consumer Insights, PR and Media Agencies


Education, Experience, And Skills Required:
  • Minimum 7 years of marketing experience in large credit card organization, preferably in a marketing role
  • Bachelors Degree, Marketing or Business; MBA preferred
  • Previous relationship management and digital media experience preferred
  • Needs to be results oriented and able to work independently in developing and executing our strategic priorities
  • Strong marketing, analytical and creative skills are essential
  • Strong written and oral presentation skills are also critical for success
