Job Description
Job Title: Assistant Project Manager
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Assist the Project Manager to provide a professional Project and Design Management service internally and externally
2. Organize and document project meetings
3. Support the Project Manager in successful project delivery
4. Create, update, and maintain a variety of project controls that track the status of: project cost & schedule, changes to projects, shop drawings and submittal, matters involving quality controls, safety, financial performance, close-out and other aspects of the projects
5. Assist in procurement
6. Manage or support the change order management process, by updating logs, routing source documents to vendors, obtaining pricing, developing estimates and proposals, writing change orders, RFIâs and other related activities
7. Establish, monitor, communicate and maintain project schedules
8. Review and coordinate shop drawings, submittals and other activities that allow the various elements of work to correctly fit together
9. Proactively identify issues that could lead to problems and facilitate solutions
10. Participate in managing activities that are related to project closeout to ensure timely completion
11. Assist with the evaluation of projects for constructability and value-engineer cost savings
12. Participate in weekly staff meetings
13. Run small projects within comfort level
14. Perform other related duties as assigned and assist Project Management staff as required / directed

Salary: $50,000.00 to $90,000.00 /year
Experience:
- General Contracting: 2 years (Preferred)
Education:
- High school or equivalent (Required)
