Our Banking & Capital Markets team is searching for a thought leader to help us formalize and focus the Cyber/Information Security support we provide to our Financial Services clients. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of the current cyber threat landscape for FIs and the breadth of leading-edge tools, tactics, techniques, and procedures used for their mitigation. This senior cybersecurity executive will be a dynamic and effective communicator, a proven collaborator, and a highly-motivated and creative problem-solver.
Our Banking & Capital Markets team is searching for a thought leader to help us formalize and focus the Cyber/Information Security support we provide to our Financial Services clients. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of the current cyber threat landscape for FIs and the breadth of leading-edge tools, tactics, techniques, and procedures used for their mitigation. This senior cybersecurity executive will be a dynamic and effective communicator, a proven collaborator, and a highly-motivated and creative problem-solver.
In this role, you will be responsible for definition and implementation of a Cyber Security strategy in support of Banking & Capital Markets Service Lines and their post-transformation offerings. Collaborating with cross-functional staff across the company, you will complete, validate, and update the inventory of cyber capabilities within the company. You will be expected to bring significant subject matter expertise, offer industry perspective/knowledge, and garner the help/support of our global solutions and sales teams. Leveraging these elements, you will help define a prioritized set of cyber capabilities with high growth potential. This growth should be projected in terms of both enabling the scaling of existing Service Line capabilities (e.g., Financial Crimes – KYC as a Service), as well as the creation, incubation, and scaling of standalone offerings (e.g., Cyber – Cloud Transformation Assurance).
Responsibilities
• Be the primary author of BCM’s Cyber Strategy and Transformation Roadmap. Define KPI, measure, escalate risks, and report status/progress
• Establish a coalition of participants (from across the service lines, horizontals, and sales teams) to help define, refine, and validate the approaches, offerings, and objectives of the Cyber Strategy
• Build an elite team of world-class Cyber professionals to support strategy and transformation as well as Cyber integrated and standalone capabilities.
• Provide support and oversight to opportunities (e.g., present at orals to close deal) and execution of efforts (e.g., maintain awareness to identify and mitigate project risks)

- Leadership capabilities (business management, technical thought leadership, and risk mitigation)
- Experience with the requirements/standards, implementation, and assessment of modern security controls within cloud service provider environments
Preferred qualifications
• MS / PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or Math or an MBA

- Experience strategy creation and implementation
- Proven ability to build highly-capable teams of technical cybersecurity experts
- Demonstrated capacity for initiating new capabilities and scaling them into viable businesses
