    Description:
    GlowHouse Gaming is looking for a Sales Director to establish and lead our sales team. The Sales Director will work with Sr. Management and the Creative Marketing team to develop a sales strategy, execution and attainment of revenue goals approaching $400,000 annually. This high-performance sales position is responsible for developing and growing Group Sales in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines to meet. The Sales Director will be responsible for directly managing an individual portfolio of accounts, as well as identifying external Group Sales opportunities and clients. The right candidate for this position will be results-oriented, with a primary focus on the growth and development of new revenue streams. We need an entrepreneur at heart who wants to help grow this company.

    Major Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Create strategic group sales plans for multiple verticals
    • Develop sales opportunities throughout Santa Clarita and its surrounding areas
    • Develop and maintain customer database of past customers and prospects, including key corporate, religious, educational, youth and school contacts
    • Make face-to-face sales calls, identify and set meetings with key contacts in the community and produce group leader events
    • Make outbound emails and calls to solicit group sales
    • Manage group order process, including but not limited to, entering all contacts in database system, work to collect all payments, send out invoices and order confirmations, arrange added value events, follow up with a group after attendance
    • Maintain sales reports and statistics so that an accurate historical preview of group sales in the organization can be reviewed
    • Write and distribute marketing materials to key audiences as needed
    • Directly manages sales team (2-3 reps), including interviewing, hiring and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work
    • Conduct sales meetings with sales staff, to achieve sales goals
    • Coordinate with marketing efforts in order to ensure maximization of sales volume
    • Develop thorough working knowledge of all our products, services and events that we offer to groups
    • Lead the sales team in creation of sales proposals and presentations for major account meetings
    • Provide regular sales reporting and analysis such as best sellers, mix of business, door rankings, and new business opportunities as they compare to expectations and past sales
    • Participate in weekly sales review with management in addition to regular budget review

    Requirements & Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree with major coursework in Marketing, Business, or Communications preferred; OR two to four years demonstrated professional experience in high performance sales; OR any equivalent combination of education, training and experience
    • Two to Four years of progressive audience (customer) development experience with a demonstrated track-record of successfully building and retaining group clients preferred
    • Some knowledge of gaming or event planning (preferred)
    • Demonstrated strong strategic planning, analytical and project management skills
    • Experience with CRM systems a plus
    • Ability to work once a week in office (Fridays), evening and weekend hours on occasion
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and G Suite
    • Strong analytical skills with ability to think and perform creatively.
    • Ability to travel up to 30% of the time to onsite appointments with accounts or for marketing
    • Prior managerial experience required
    • Physical demands: The physical demands of the job, including bending, sitting, lifting, stepping and driving
    • Ability to pass a background check in accordance with State and Federal laws
