Regional Director of Operations
BayMark Health Services is looking for an accountable, strategic and efficient Regional Director of Operations for our Treatment Programs. The Regional Director Operations is the business unit owner and is responsible for maximizing the Company’s clinical and financial performance in an assigned region. He/she provides leadership in the administration of the business affairs and operations of the Company to include the direct supervision of the Treatment Center’s Directors and, by extension, each treatment center’s performance in the following key areas: operations, financial, staffing and employee relations, training, compliance, community relations/outreach, quality and customer service/satisfaction.
Ensure effective implementation and execution of policies and plans to direct the growth of the Company and to achieve both long-term and short-range objectives. Travel as required.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop a strategic plan for each clinic within the assigned region to advance the company’s mission and objectives that achieve financial, operational, clinical, compliance and marketing goals. Develop a budget in coordination with parent company to establish clear expectations.
- Responsible for ensuring all treatment centers within the assigned region adhere to all federal, state, and local regulatory agency requirements and regulations.
- Responsible for ensuring that all regulatory and internal audit corrective action plans are followed.
- Monitor performance against budget and take action to improve performance through revenue generation and expense control.
- Responsible for driving treatment center and assigned region growth efforts.
- Oversee company operations to insure production efficiency, quality, customer service and cost effective management of resources.
- Plan, develop and implement strategies for generating revenue opportunities for the assigned region.
- Develop and approve company operational procedures, policies and standards in full coordination with parent company to insure good communication and coordination throughout.
- Review statistical reports to determine progress and implement improvement plans where indicated.
- Monitor performance against budget and take action to improve performance through revenue generation and expense control.
- Develop plans for patient retention in the assigned region treatment centers.
- Ensure patient access to services within the assigned region.
- Develop and maintain a sound plan of organization. Develop a comprehensive management contingency plan that provides organization stability. Build and develop leadership teams. Hold individuals accountable for performance objectives. Ensure that the Mission, Vision, and Values are upheld throughout the organization.
- Review daily, weekly, and monthly treatment center reports.
- Submit treatment center and region reports in a timely manner. Identifying positive and negative trends as well as the underlying drive.
- Develop key positive relationships with local industry, local government, potential key health care providers and the general public.
- Represent the company at legislative sessions, committee meetings and formal functions.
- Establishes physician engagement relationships with company authorized contract models to support existing and new service offerings.
- Team Member qualifications: the Regional Director is responsible for ensuring team members within their region are qualified by appropriate education, credentials, and training.
- Continued Education/Credentialing: the Regional Director is responsible for ensuring all team members maintain licensure as required by the state, federal, and licensing authorities
- Responsible for managing and ensuring accuracy of time off requests, timekeeping and timecard approval for Program/Clinic Directors under their supervision.
- Responsible for the coordination, supervision, and monitoring of human resources activities and policies and procedures.
- Responsible for maintaining an adequate mix of team members necessary to provide best in class patient care
- Adherence to a code of conduct conducive with BayMark Health Services policy is expected.
- Ability to handle stressful situations and interact with others.
- Ensure company policies and procedures are followed at the assigned region treatment centers.
- Develops and monitors marketing plans at each location.
- Works collaboratively with Development to transition acquisitions and de novo treatment centers
- Other duties, as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or active enrollment in a bachelor’s degree program.
- Five (5) years management level experience.
- Three years of previous experience owning the P&L performance of the organization
- Ability to read and interpret financial data.
- Background in Addition Programs.
- Knowledge & skills with Microsoft products & general computer literacy.
- Preferred prior experience in an outpatient setting with multi-site responsibility.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Demonstrated success in building high performing operating teams.
- Ability to function with a collaborative spirit throughout all functions of the Company (NSC and the Region).
- Demonstrated success in driving initiatives that yield strong results.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Exhibits good time management skills.
- Ability to travel up to 75%, 3 out of 4 weeks
- Satisfactory references from employers and/or professional peers.
- Satisfactory criminal background check.
- Satisfactory drug screen.
- Strong preference to base out of DFW
