The Project Manager is a key contributor to the planning and execution of projects and campaigns.
The Project Manager is a key contributor to the planning and execution of projects and campaigns, driving successful delivery while staying within project budgets, timelines, and objectives.
Main Duties/Responsibilities
- End-to-end management of new projects for digital marketing, marketing automation, advertising, social media, and overall campaign management, working closely with the Account Manager
- Manage project deliverables and timelines for client campaigns (websites, emails, newsletters, print ads, promotions, special marketing initiatives)
- Manage the creative process with a focus on efficiency and accuracy
- Ensure consistency across all marketing collateral
- Identify and work with internal teams to make sure all creative production processes are satisfactory and within budget constraints
- Coordinate internal and external teams to facilitate creative development, campaign implementation and performance analysis
- Troubleshoot and find resolutions to Account Manager and client questions, campaign needs and creative production issues
- Accurately track time for billing and invoicing needs
- Assist with scoping and estimating projects
- Provide input on strategies and campaigns for clients
- Remain current in the latest marketing trends and make recommendations to clients based on new research and findings
- Establish and track budgets as well as analytical reports and campaign results
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in advertising, marketing, communications, public relations or related
- Minimum 2-3 years of project management in an ad agency, marketing firm or marketing department
- Proficient in using Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint; willingness and ability to learn and utilize new systems/tools as needed
- Proficiency with project management software tools including but not limited to JIRA
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate professionally in person and via email and phone
- Familiarity with managing digital and marketing automation campaigns
- Excellent organizational abilities, attention to detail and follow-through; strong prioritization and time-management skills
- Ability to work individually and in team settings
- Strong client service ethic; high degree of responsiveness and interest in exceeding expectations
- Project Management certification is encouraged, but not required
