The Program Manager, Technology Change Manager will play a key role in ensuring assigned projects/initiatives (change initiatives) meet objectives on time by increasing employee adoption and usage. This person will focus on the people side of change, including changes to business processes, systems and technology, job roles and organization structures. The primary responsibility will be creating and implementing change management strategies and plans that maximize employee adoption and usage and minimize resistance. The change manager will use data-driven solutions to drive faster adoption, higher ultimate utilization of and proficiency with the changes that impact employees. These improvements will increase benefit realization, value creation, ROI and the achievement of results and outcomes while enhancing collaboration across the enterprise.
While the change manager may or may not have supervisory responsibility, this person will have to work through many others in the organization to succeed. The change manager will act as a coach for stakeholders in helping them fulfill the role of change sponsor. The change manager may also provide direct support and coaching to all levels of managers and supervisors as they help their direct reports through transitions. The change manager will also support project teams in integrating change management activities into their project plans. This role will be responsible for ensuring consistent alignment of how change management will be utilized and scaled to fit end user needs and to mitigate potential risk to the enterprise for the initiatives they lead. This role will be required to be a brand ambassador for IT.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Apply a change management process and tools to create a strategy to support adoption of the changes required by a project or initiative
- Ensure change management initiatives meet the requirements of TVA SPP 22.100 and that projects are implemented on time and within budget to achieve end user adoption.
- Develop and apply a set of targeted, actionable change management plans, including communication plans, coaching plans, sponsor roadmaps, resistance management plans and training plans.
- Create and manage measurement systems to track utilization, adoption, and proficiency of employee changes.
- Support the design, development, delivery and management of communications for the TCM team.
- Conduct impact analyses, assess change readiness and identify key stakeholders.
- Provide input, document requirements and support the design and delivery of training programs.
- Complete change management assessments that includes: identifying, analyzing, and preparing change management risk evaluations, and organization, sponsorship & user readiness.
- Identify and manage anticipated resistance
- Consult and coach project teams on change management process, tools, and user adoption tendencies.
- Create actionable deliverables for the three change management levers: communications plan, training plans, resistance management plans.
- Support and engage senior leaders and project sponsors so they are visible and active.
- Integrate change management activities into project plan and schedule.
- Define and measure success metrics and monitor change progress while reporting risks and issues to proper stakeholders
- Support change management at the organizational level
- Maintain relevant technical expertise and remain abreast of evolving technologies through interaction with vendors, peers, and participation in benchmarking activities and professional conferences/seminars.
- Manage multiple change projects as a portfolio
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Education – Bachelors degree in business management, marketing, communications, or equivialent education or related work experience. Master’s degree preferred but not required.
Experience – Requires a minimum of 5 years of change management experience within a complex matrix organization. Requires specialized in-depth knowledge of Prosci change management processes and tools. Has shown the ability to develop change management competency within stakeholder groups and yield desired results through networking, collaboration, and team building.
Certification/License, etc. — Prosci Change Management Certification or equivalent change management certification (ACMP, LaMarsh, etc.) preferred.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities — Candidate may be required to obtain and maintain a security clearance based on position / access requirements and essential job functions. Experience and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies and tools. Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal. Excellent active listening skills. Ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences. Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships. Ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal.
