THE POSITION
We are currently looking for an inspired and well-qualified Preschool Director.

The right candidate will be energetic and experienced in developing safe, fun, and nurturing environments for children and their families. Since children’s needs are constantly changing, you must also be highly organized, flexible, and able to demonstrate compassion and patience in every encounter.
Inspire a love of learning and make a positive difference in each child’s development and growth by creating and leading educational programs for our children.
Create a safe, healthy, and welcoming learning environment.
Build trusting relationships and develop open lines of communication with staff, parents, and children.
Supervise classroom activities in a proactive, patient, and loving manner.
Provide unparalleled customer service.
Collaborate with the Assistant Director to maintain the day-to-day operations of the center
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:
- Preschool Director Qualified for the State of Virginia
- BA or AA in Early childhood education or CDA.
- Prior Managerial Experience in a Preschool Setting
- Strong business management skills.
- Team Builder
- Commitment to Professional Development
- Development of marketing strategies is a must.
- Have full complete knowledge of standard office practices.
- Strong customer service, organization, and listening skills. Above average on verbal and written skills.
- Possess skills, attributes and characteristics conducive to and suitable for dealing with customers, vendors, team members, and clients.
- Proficient in MS Office applications including Excel.
