Job Summary

The Managing Director for Mazzone Hospitality will be The Essential Leader that, inspires and embodies Mazzone Hospitality Core Values around Vision, Integrity, Passion and Hospitality; will leverage their adeptness in communication, hospitality, operational and financial skills to partner with key stakeholders, responsible for driving revenue and maximizing growth opportunities. The successful candidate will have a keen understanding of off-premise and on premise catering sales and operations; will have oversite to both Catering and B&I channels. This role will also provide direct thought-leadership in operational execution and people support while reaching the Company’s goals. The Managing Director will lead the successful implementation of the overall Business Strategy plan; devise and execute against strategic initiatives along with advancing the service business resulting in high performing productivity and top satisfaction as the marketplace leader.

Job Description

Core Responsibilities:
Revenue and Profitability Leadership

  • Deliver against company and client financial targets, Lead strategic planning process for business growth,
  • Builds an infrastructure that can scale for rapid growth; Plan, develop, and implement strategies to increase revenue and profits within the Division.
  • Sales Leadership- demonstrated proficiency to create a proactive Sales Culture
  • Oversee divisional operations to ensure labor efficiency, quality, service, and customer and client satisfaction/retention
  • Achieve/exceed budget plans along with operational excellence targets.


People, Performance and Culture:

  • Builds and grows a high-performing team of leaders who exemplify the Core Values and align to the shared vison of common purpose and success.

Experience & Qualifications

Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree; MBA desirable.
  • 15-20 years of progressive managerial with significant catering know-how.
  • It would be beneficial for this individual to be client Savvy and have some past sales experience.
  • Turn-a-round experience a Plus.
  • Proficiency in managing budgets and working to achieve KPI’s
  • Demonstrated adeptness for managing teams at the senior leadership level, to lead, empower and grow a team.
  • Demonstrated familiarity of runnung and scaling a successful business.
