We are seeking a Logistics Manager to help us meet our goals. This critical position paves the way to getting our quality product to our customer on time ensuring continued customer satisfaction!!!

Responsibilities include:

  • Managing the movement of product both in the warehouse and on the road
  • Negotiate with third party transportation companies
  • Schedule company drivers for delivery of goods to customers
  • Communicate and troubleshoot with drivers delivering goods
  • Arranging back-haul for company vehicles
  • Communicate with multiple warehouses
  • Design routes for drivers
  • Monitor company trucks via vehicle tracking
  • File claims for damaged goods and follow up
  • Supervise in-house drivers (time and attendance, PIP, etc.)
  • Ability to resolve issues under pressure
  • Strong communication skills
  • Solid computer skills with advance Excel knowledge
  • Fleet tax reporting
  • Managing overseas inbound shipments from piers
  • Coordinating inbound rail cars

Requirements:

  • Min 5 years Logistics Experience
  • Fire in the belly!!
  • 4 Year College degree
