We are seeking an accomplished Office Manager / Human Resources Generalist to help aid in the growth of our team based in Brooklyn.
Oversee our HR policies, hiring and implementation, and oversee general office management. Our ideal hire for this position will be able to drive our hiring and onboarding process, and add general office management, potentially including coordinating our accounting and legal needs.
HR Responsibilities:
- Coordinate job requests and hiring
- Interface and manage recruiters and job boards
- Manage on-boarding process for new hires
- Manage and work with our online HR platform, Gusto
General Office Responsibilities:
- Coordinate daily needs of employees
- Interface with facilities, utilities and service providers
- General admin support, as needed by other managers
Education And Experience Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Management, Human Resources or related field. Masters degree highly desired.
- Human resource or related business experience with at least 2 years experience, preferably with experience in the high tech and/or startup industry supporting organizations
- Demonstrated ability to work both at the strategic and tactical level with a can-do attitude to do what it takes to get the job done.
- Demonstrate a high sense of urgency in driving key initiatives and resolution to sensitive issues.
- Also welcome other experiences in behavioral, personality or work-performance assessment.
- An individual who embraces technology and the use of it.
