Nature and scope:
The Divisional Vice President of Operations (DVPO) oversees all operational aspects of all Affinity Living Groupâs portfolio of long term care properties. All Regional Vice Presidents will report directly to the DVPO and the DVPO will report to the COO. The DVPO is responsible, through the Regional Vice Presidents, to ensure operational effectiveness in all properties and the delivery of the highest quality services to our residents and their families.

The DVPO is responsible, through the Regional Vice Presidents, to ensure operational effectiveness in all properties and the delivery of the highest quality services to our residents and their families.
Minimum eligibility requirements:
- Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Gerontology or related field preferred.
- Experience of 5-10 years or more as RVPO or ED or combination of both in a retirement, nursing home, or assisted living industry preferred. Multi-site experience preferred.
- Must be licensed in good standing if required by the State Licensing Authority.
- Must be able to communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, community officials, State hospitals and general public.
- Must have compassion for and desire to work with the elderly.
- Must demonstrate the ability to work responsibly as a team member as well as an individual.
- Must be honest, fair, dependable, respect confidentiality and the rights and privacy of others.
- Practice and promote Affinity Policies and Procedures, Mission Statement, Core Values and Founding Principles.
- Must be computer literate.
- Experience with financial reporting and managing multiple budgets.
- Must pass criminal background check.
- Must meet all health requirements.
- Must have valid driverâs license.
- Must be able to perform the duties and responsibilities (Essential Job Functions) with or without reasonable accommodation.
Essential functions:
- Promotes and implements the mission, philosophy and values of the company to all ALG communities through the Regional Vice Presidents.
- Sets annual performance goals for each Regional Vice President including expectations for how they will be evaluated.
- Leads the Regional Vice Presidents in the development, evaluation and approval of their business plans and operating budgets.
- Ensures that all Regional Vice Presidents have the resources and tools necessary to meet their performance goals.
- Motivates and inspires his or her team of Regional Vice Presidents to achieve optimal performance in all the ALG properties.
- Ensures compliance by Regional Vice Presidents with all corporate reporting requirements, including financial statements, sales and activity reports, and other performance data.
- Conducts operational audits to ensure compliance with established quality and productivity standards.
- Assesses capital expenditures recommended by the Regional Vice Presidents and makes recommendations to the COO.
- Collaborates with appropriate corporate staff in Finance, Human Resources, Marketing/Sales, Clinical and Quality Improvement to ensure that the needs of the Regional Vice Presidents are being met.
