SUMMARY
The Director of the Strategic Project Management Office (SPMO) directs and overseas the project management staff to ensure programs and projects meet organization goals and requirements. The Director is responsible for establishing the structure of project plans for strategic projects, including major capital projects and organization-wide initiatives. The Director will partner with key organizational and operational leaders to identify and achieve priorities, goals, and objectives for each initiative. this includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members in order to deliver projects according to plan. As needed, the Director will manage a portfolio projects directly.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree in Project Management or related field
- Master’s Degree in Project Management or related field Preferred
- Eight (8) years or more years project management experience in a complex health care environment including experience at the manager/director level.
- Excellent written and oral presentation
- Strong analytical skills
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification Preferred
