Position Overview
We are representing a client in their search for a Director of Marketing. The Director of Marketing will have the mission critical and exciting job of leading the marketing function for a leader in the Supply Chain Management space.

Candidate should have a passion for driving measurable results, the ability to analyze marketing data, and to maintain the marketing budget.
Client is looking for someone who has the creative ability to shape the company’s brand identity and develop plans and programs that give the company a real voice in the marketplace. Initially, this position will be largely responsible for executing the plan but will need the ability to lead a team as additional resources are added to the marketing team.
Candidate should be a high performer capable of being part of the leadership team who is team oriented, goal driven, and who loves the creative process of shaping and promoting the brand!
A typical day for the Director of Marketing would include:
- Deliver SQLs to drive revenue growth plan
- Manage brand identity and increase brand awareness in target markets
- Identify and manage Tradeshows and Conferences
- Develop key marketing materials with a focus on customer successes and product strengths
- Develop and maintain a yearly budget for marketing
- Manage all social media content to create a continuous presence on critical social media (i.e. LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, etc.)
- Analyze marketing data, report patterns, and recommendations to executive team
- Track marketing industry trends and recommend strategies for growth
- Track key market competitors
- Oversee advertising strategies
- Manage vendors and agencies
- Implement and improve the company’s marketing software systems (currently HubSpot)
- Develop and distribute ‘thought leadership’ pieces
- Prepare and report updates for executive team
- Lead and manage the marketing team (based on future growth)
- Lead annual Customer Conference
Qualifications:

o Bachelor’s Degree in marketing (preferred)
o Demonstrable experience working with multiple mediums including video
o Ability to manage multiple projects at once
o Ability to communicate effectively in speech and writing
o A customer-focused attitude
o Content creation experience
o SEO and PPC experience (certifications a plus)
o Strong drive for results
o Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
o Ability to analyze problems and create a solution
o Ability to analyze data and leverage it for marketing programs
