JOB DESCRIPTION
Position Title: Development Director
Department: Administration
Supervisor: Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
Position Status: Hourly, Regular Full Time Salary Range: Grade IX
Salary: Depends on Experience
POSITION SUMMARY:
Under the direction of the CEO, the Development Director researches, prepares and writes grants and proposals, for the purpose of pursuing funds to accomplish EICAP Agency goals. This will include, but is not limited to, major gift fundraising, grant writing and serving as a liaison for EICAP. Will organize and develop fundraising, community events, special projects and other revenue producing activities. Coordinates the implementation and maintenance of EICAP’s Strategic, Operational and Communications Plans.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university in English, Business Writing, Public or Business Administration, or related field or a combination of experience/training that would equal this. Experience in working with private and public funding sources in grant writing and budget development. Experience in working with private individuals in setting up planned donations and contributions preferred.
