Our growing Lenders’ Services/Construction Project Monitoring team has a need for a Project Manager based out of our office in Los Angeles. You will engage with major Lenders and Developers in California and United States-wide. Our exciting portfolio of projects span across various sectors including residential, commercial and industrial. As a Project Manager, you will play an integral role in the continued growth of our Lenders’ Services/Construction Project Monitoring Team within the California market and across the United States.

Responsibilities:

  • Review of project draw packages and all supporting documentation, including pay applications, lien waivers, change orders, invoices, etc.;
  • Review of project contracts (Owner/Contractor, Owner/Architect, and Owner/Engineer), plan, AIA documents, schedules and specifications;
  • Review project hard cost budget reviews/take-offs;
  • ALTA Survey review, and various other construction related documents;
  • Conduct monthly site visits for projects assigned and support in the preparation of proposals;
  • Completing any tasks assigned by Director in an efficient and timely manner;
  • Work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation and excellence
  • Communicate regularly with clients to ensure high levels of satisfaction while maintaining alignment with industry best practice

Skills and Expertise:

  • Degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Architecture, Engineering, or equivalent in a related discipline;
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience within the construction sector, local experience is considered an asset;
  • Good communication skills with an ability to liaise confidently and build relationships with peers;
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work under pressure and within tight deadlines;
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks;
  • Experience using MS Office and MS Project; and
  • Ability to manage client relationships
