The Project Manager will work report to the Director of Development. The Construction Project Manager will work independently to provide oversight an quality control throughout design and construction processes, ensure that projects meet Azura Standards and are delivered on-time and on-budget. Projects will include a range of Senior Living construction projects from $20 million ground-up new construction to Capital Improvement Projects on existing portfolio senior living industry.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage new construction and major capital expenditure projects to implement Azura Standards within the Azura Portfolio
- Work with Director of Development, Architects, Engineers, and Contractors to develop plans and specifications, and budgets for new projects.
- Manage projects from conception to turnover to operations team to ensure projects meet Azura Standards and are delivered on time and on budget.
- Project Management / Construction Administration
- Represent Azura at Construction and OAC Meetings at construction sites.
- Regular Project Budget Analysis, review of Pay Applications and Development of Draw Submissions.
- Timely final subcontractor reconciliation and billing, punch list and all final closeout.
- Timely handling of client and subcontractor issues, RFIs, change orders, pay applications, monthly cost analysis and reporting
- Provide innovative ideas in relation to construction and technology for new and upcoming projects
- Maintains relationships with and may source outside consultants, contractors, brokers and suppliers.
- Attend public and neighborhood meetings, as necessary.
- Bachelorâs or degree in in Construction Management, Architecture or Engineering is preferred.
- Five to Ten years of specific experience in project and/or construction management
- Excellent computer skills with experience in Microsoft Office

NOTE: Travel required as necessary, all projects are within state of Wisconsin.
